Space to play, space to learn. Spaces to interact with others. A student voice experience in infant school (0-3 years)

Abstract

This article presents the initiative carried out in an infant school in Cantabria (Spain) in order to promote school improvement through the student voice. On this experience, the school´s garden, conceived as other element of its educational project, becomes the element from which a research process begins in which teachers, students and researchers give rise to a collaborative research. This research is framed in the tradition of participatory- qualitative research, which seeks the transformation of reality from the democratic conception of the processes of inquiry and the shared construction of knowledge.
