Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present some main concepts about neurological-science, specifically the ones established by Francisco Varela, Antonio Damasio, Shaun Gallagher and Alva Noé. The aim is to analyze and to discover encounter points between the neurological-phenomenology of Francisco Varela and learning, based on the assumption that they are or complementary concepts, or mutually conclusive.
Using the literature review as fundament, more attention is given to some suggestions in order to approach the complex challenge of the teaching-learning process with emphasis on the school system.
