Abstract

This research is part of the National Cinema and Mexican Literature project, Historical and social study carried out since 2009. Through a documentary study and field work, the memory of the countercultural film director Marcelino Aupart is rescued, who, in his film work Ardor de Juventud (1987), leaves the process as a legacy through images of time and space of a region to the east of México City; thus, it allows to observe, compare and document two eras of this Mexican town and, also, shows one of Mexican cinema crossroads.
