The teaching of History of Venezuela within the framework of the project of education of interpretative systemology

Abstract

For more than ten years the Interpretive Sistemology has been developing an educational project for primary and secondary school whose main objective is the cultivation of the skills required to propitiate in individuals a will of holistic sense. This project has left a profuse theoretical contribution through the work undertaken in doctoral theses, Master's and undergraduate in the engineering career of systems, as well as an enlightening praxis through the Paideia pilot school created and supported by the Center of Research in Interpretive Sistemology as a space for the enrichment of understanding about pedagogical processes. The result of this effort has been an important set of manuals detailing the pedagogical activities for the primary and secondary levels that must be carried out under the requirements of the Venezuelan national curriculum. This article sets forth the guiding ideas of this educational project and presents a reflection on the teaching of Venezuelan history as well as the highlights of the design carried out for the teaching of this asignature and start-up in the educational unit Colegio José Félix Ribas of the city of Ejido, Mérida state, Venezuela.
