Conciliation between labor and family life. An analysis from perspective of Chilean labor law
Main Article Content
Abstract
The increasing incorporation of women to the labor field, without resigning to the obligations usually assigned to them, has produced a constant tension between her labor and family duties, which, in turn, has generated the need to revise many of the traditional institutions of Labor Law –such as regulations on daily work or maternity leave– in order to progress towards a fairer distribution of the roles of the working parents that contributes to generate a change in our labor market in order to effectively enforce the equality of opportunities between men and women.
