Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the role of the Professional Learning Communities (CPA) in the transformation of the teaching of primary level teachers. The PRISMA methodology was used in the search and process of information. Of 220 articles reviewed, thirteen were selected, which met the selection criteria formulated. Those that did not meet the criteria were excluded, as well as those that presented some methodological deficiency or did not develop the research elements such as objectives, approach, sample, measurement techniques, intervention techniques and results. The results indicated that the CPAs have a very important impact on the transformation of teaching and the professional development of teachers. It was concluded that the CPA contain the best contexts- conceptual, spatial and methodological -for the transformation of teacher education to take place.
