Its objective is to find out the profile of the scientific production in this regard, in terms of the approaches that the works assume, their protagonists, the types of didactic resources they study and the kind of instruments they use.
The document search is carried out in four databases and three languages, following the PRISMA protocol. Forty-one publications have been identified, it is concluded that the scientific production under study focuses on research that mainly deals with the paper textbook, followed at a great distance by digital teaching resources. In addition, it is common for Secondary School Mathematics manuals to be analyzed with an eye on the student body and using the control sheet as a research instrument.
