Abstract
The work presented here constitutes an alternative towards the improvement in the training of professionals, focusing on the incorporation of informatics and informational competences that allow them to strengthen levels of professionalization in the management of scientific information with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) at the graduate level. The main objective of this study was to delimit the level of competences possessed by university teachers participating in scientific research processes. The study was focused on estimating variables through surveys, for which the Likert scaling method was applied as the main instrument for data collection. The analysis carried out revealed a series of shortcomings in the management of scientific information, as well as in the use of ICT, which limit the presentation of optimal results in the presentation of scientific work.
