Building implicit theories from Service-Learning in Learning Communities

Abstract
The purpose of the article is to analyze the deconstruction, construction and creation of implicit teaching theories in university students committed to Service-Learning in Learning Community centers, within the area of Physical Education. It is carried out from the analysis of the critical incidents narrated by twenty-two students during their stay in the receiving centers. It is from a corpus of eighty-nine incidents analyzed with qualitative methodology, that we can conclude that the main findings of the research show a clear inclination towards the construction of implicit theory linked to the management of emotions and value work in the classroom, to the detriment of learning related to instrumentality and conceptual supports in the area.
