Main Article Content
Abstract
This article shows a pedagogical experience of university Service-Learning in community intervention, whose proposal was based on the foundations of social-community psychology. For this purpose, interdisciplinary work was carried out with students from the Physical Education, Psychology and Social Work degree courses at the Universidad de Bío-Bío in Chile. An intervention design was carried out with the participation of the students and a subsequent intervention following the guidelines of social-community psychology. The data from this qualitative study with a phenomenological approach were obtained from a focus group and a categorical analysis of the information was carried out. The main findings show that the students valued the interdisciplinary experience and the acquisition of different professional and generic competences throughout the training process and service.
