Parents and development of their children: child rearing practices

Abstract

Parents contribute to the social and emotional development of their children by interacting with them and using education practices. Therefore, studies about education practices are revised, concentrating on the classifications made by various authors, on the practices, or on the different ways which parents use to control their children's behavior, to demonstrate the differences between the two groups of parents as well as the factors which contribute to those differences.
