The affective dimension as basis for bringing physics teaching into context

Abstract
In the search of a solution to the problem posed to physics teaching by the lack of interest of students, a model for planning teaching units has been developed. It uses contexts as a way to make learning meaningful. The model has different stages; one of those is the identification of the interests' pattern of students, which helps to define the most proper contexts for the different teaching units.
