Abstract

From the specific needs of Spanish-speaking countries in relation to the inclusion of students with special needs in physical education class (PE), an inventory called “Individualized Education Plan applied to Physical Education” (PEI-EF) was developed through the international collaboration of faculty from North and South America. Versions in English, Portuguese and Spanish have been validated simultaneously. This article aims to describe the content validation of the instrument in Spanish language which was reviewed and content validated for 5
professionals in the field of adapted physical education (EFA). The use of this instrument is recommended to effectively plan the inclusion of students with special needs in PE class. The term special needs students will be used in this article to refer to students with disabilities or impairments or educational needs.
