From the thesis exposed by Josefina Ludmer, in "Las tretas del débil" (1984) and taking as anchorage the evident resistance that exists between the ethical-aesthetic-political proposal of Isabel Leyzeaga and the immediate reception of its literary work, we set out to explore the process of self designation carried out by the author at the time of developing her writing, in order to track the objectivation resources that allowed to open a space for him in the Venezuelan cultural field of from the middle of the XX century. That is why we set out an approach to her two novels: Miga (1962) and Varias locas y yo (1955) understanding them as a part of a great literary proposal, that worke as an answer before the demands of the Venezuelan canon of the time and the systems of thought that legitimized it.
