Northern lexical and dialectal contacts in Chile
Main Article Content
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to examine, at the lexical level, what languages (aymara and quechua) and foreign dialects (bolivian and peruvian) have had an influence on the Spanish spoken in the north of Chile. It is shown that this influence exists and an area of influence is postulated, which includes several words showing different periods in time from their introduction in Chile.
