Sub terra by Baldomero Lillo' and the beginning of alternative consciousness

Abstract
In 1904, Sub terra a book of Lota coal miners was published. Literarity, the eight-story book proposed a widening of Hispanoamerican modernism, including a vision of the Industrial Revolution. The book shows a critical discourse analysis of the social and unfair domination system of the XX century. The added letter of Lillo to Pedro Prado describes the material difficulties and precarious organization of the cultural aspect of the country.
