Abstract

In the context of the discussion on nihilism in German philosophy in the early XIX century, a strong controversy is developed in which literary creativeness is involved. This paper presents some important aspects of lean Paul's poetic production and its relationship with this controversy, explaining the difference of its theoretical intentions with those coming from fiction, especially those related to oniric fantasy.
