Aspectos Biológicos de Automeris erythraea (Lepidoptera: Saturniidae)

Abstract
Average duration of the six larval instars prepupa and pupa of the moth Auromeris erythraea (Ph.) reared in captivity add up to 180 days, larval stage I (12 days) being the shorter and pupa (54 days) the longer. Eggs were by the first time collected on Pinus radiata D. Don forest near Puren, IX Región, Chile.
