Limache’s Female mutual aid society: a social security case and solidarity social economy in a local scenery from Chile of the 20th century. (1948-1990)

Abstract
The current research presents some of the analysed results from “sociedad femenina de socorros mutuos” ‘s file from Limache. The studied association seeks to be a cooperation network between the associates and the cooperators in search to supply the social needs that the state did not provided them. During the 20th century it’s seen a public-sector social insurance yet it will have weaknesses in its operation, leaving a problematic related to social coverage at present. It is present a study case about the local mutualism and its survivor method through cooperation of their associates under the social solidarity economy.
