Pedagogies of violence: criminal policies of post-dictatorial Chile

Abstract

This paper is about the (re) production of violence immersed in the criminal policies of the post-dictatorship in Chile, addressing from a qualitative perspective, through the analysis of in-depth interviews conducted in three prisons in Chile, some of the knowledge/power devices that institute the selective persecution of the prisoner bodies and the continuous circuit of violence that characterizes the contemporary criminal issue.
