Memorial document: From Philosophy to the American History

Abstract

In this exposition we deal with the concept of the written memorial in America from the XVIth Century to the XlXth Century in the historical context of the Conquest, the Colony and the American Independence. This way, we believe that when viewing the structure of these writings we recognize that the memorial is an argumentative text whose cultural-historical base is very important from Philosophy to Illustration. From this point of view the transmitter requests a good demanded as a legitimate right.
