Abstract
Ecosocioeconomics privileges ongoing propositional experiences with socioeconomic and environmental learning through territorial development dynamics with a view to sustainability. In this sense, the objective is to present the relationship between socio-environmental businesses of community-based tourism with an institutional arrangement in the territory of protected natural areas. For this purpose, the Grande Reserva Mata Atlântica initiative was chosen, which encompasses a continuum of native vegetation of this biome, several traditional communities in coastal areas, marine, and Serra do Mar portions of the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná, and São Paulo. The study is descriptive and exploratory-qualitative with the main methodological procedures: documentary research, participant, and interview with key agents. In the institutional socio-productive arrangement, it was identified that socio-environmental business entrepreneurship is a vital development agent considering Community-Based Tourism (TBC) initiatives, such as those supported by the Nature Entrepreneur Program.
