MEXICAN STUDENT MOBILITY TO SPAIN AND IT'S RELATIONSHIP WITH NOSTALGIC CONSUMPTION OF MEXICAN FOOD

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation is to show the relationship between Mexican food and the consumption of nostalgia of Mexican students in Spain. The result of this investigation is theorical knowledge on how nostalgia is a feeling among people who move from their place of origin.

These results belong to a quantitative research, achieving the implementation of a model that shows the relationship between Mexican food and the consumption of nostalgia. The concepts of nostalgia and Mexican food were used in a practical way.  The results conclude a directly proportional and highly positive association for the variables; nostalgia, Mexican food and Mexican food restaurants, however we found a moderate positive association for the variables: food products, packaged food, supermarket and price, all of these are related to consumption of nostalgia.
