THE CULTURAL TOURISM POLICY IN THE STATE OF MEXICO

Abstract
The study takes into account an analysis of the cultural tourism policy in the State of Mexico, considering its eight regions political-economy from the design of instruments that collect the views of major stakeholders (employers, tourists, local community and civil servants) as well as the characteristics of a cultural and natural heritage for the purpose of tourism, in order to clarify that a policy of cultural tourism is much more than just rescuing historic buildings or beautifying towns typical. Based on the results of a model and identifies a series of indicators to be analysed carefully to correlate with the needs of stakeholders in the tourism sector culture with the aim of establishing better this policy but also determine viable tourist venues to conditions of our reality that is constantly evolving.
