Abstract

This paper describes de research-action process in architecture project didactics, concerning the relationship between theory and practice based on the transition from a No Place to the Place.
The theory is introduced in the workshop (project course) through relevant concepts like: no-place; place; human being; inhabit; and context, mainly from different but complementary disciplines, including: philosophy, anthropology, sociology and architecture. The goal is to prompt deeper reflections on the key concepts so as to provide solid arguments and link architecture projects with their inhabitants and context.
